A division of sorrows

The god that created evil and who has been killing everybody you love insists the devil is the really bad guy. Fair bet that all hierarchical power structures since generally operate by the same standards and practices. A functioning democracy of checks and balances would have rendered all of it improbable, this desperate need of indulged fantasy to cost others resource and opportunity.

As wealth goes nowhere via good intentions I’ve no doubt Hunter Biden broke laws, but going by the volume of outrage from the right you’d think he tried to stop a school shooting. Times are scary not because the people made to die for being unwanted are as numerous as the people allowed to die for being unneeded, but because more people have exceptions of their own in mind. The highest-rated cable program is Tucker Carlson’s but his best numbers are less than half the NYC population all by itself. Total USA comic book readership is less than Louisville’s population, most generous estimates citing half a mil tops. Vinn diagrams would show attempted auto-fellators. Dissimilar to pwning a William Blake algo.

Another day of you not overworking anyone or overcharging anyone, not lying or cheating or stealing, not using or abusing anyone, and never justifying any of that as somehow necessary, is another day where your sociopolitical opinions go unsolicited. If the only way to avoid suffering is by demanding it of others, then our captains of industry and heads of state are consistently the most cowardly among us. If an election cycle went by with everyone boycotting the vote, public offices would fill themselves with anointed. There were voices fetishing a military coup to get more people back to work during a pandemic. But let’s pretend the country is a thing to live or die for. If you only have but one life to give to the brand you’re a hater. Let he who is cruising for a bruising cast the first stone. Idolize people requiring investors and workers and consumers and audiences to carry them aloft while they burn through billions but anyone needing change for food is a useless beggar. If I had a drink for every time your icon considered you, I’d be 180 lbs of sand in clothes. And if prisons are paupers prisons for those unable/unwilling to support industries actively justifying workers and customers take all risk, under a governance profiteering the largest military apparatus in world history, why don’t Nuremberg principles pertain to contributing members of society? Once this country is dissolved, how many trees will it require for 330 million+ non-disclosure agreements to get signed?

News and entertainment which are not entirely free are more likely to also want something else of you. After a revolution, all news media oversight should really be viewed as an extension of the department of education. But that would also require political candidates unconvinced that all things uncomfortable or unfamiliar to them personally are some dastardly ploy. Elections are always won by people who believe they have any earthly right to authority over the lives of others.

The Ku Klux Klan, Salvation Army and Satanists all rely on the same Intellectual Properties to define their principles, displaying how subjective faith is at its core. Their agreeing that pagans are simply anyone not a Christian is the only thing every denomination believes in. Any celebrity person or institution in existence with more resources and opportunities than yourself does not truly need your defenses, your love or your support. The people ground to dust and dirt to maintain those authorities and powers and wealth do however. Don’t defend with your love and support Cruz or Musk, Hollywood or the Vatican or the USA, defend their offspring who fail to rate as a priority. Defend the disposable human capital and human shields the esteem of the most selfish among us shelter beneath like lazy cowards. I hate labels, I identify as Richard Caldwell and my ego doesn’t need more, but clearly I’m a nihilistic non-theist. But not to upset anyone. My mom believed firmly in every institution and every institution let her down while contributing to every last moment of her suffering. When we regard symbols with more gravitas than the life they cannot exist without, life pays the price. Every flag, every currency, every religious icon is a thing to hide and safeguard all the worst among us. Everybody has arguments for why they deserve more of whatever than others, but where are the arguments that others deserve no less? Like it or not we’re a human chain, but as no chain is stronger than its weakest link, why give energy to what has more than you?

“I believe in god the almighty but he needs my help hating and condemning to hellfire people, places and things because his intelligent design is so fucked up he needs my assistance but I cry myself to sleep wondering if he’s omnipotent why’d it take 7 days to create everything.” “I know the devil is bad because the god responsible for all of creation said so but he also said the devil is the lord of lies and that I can never talk to him because he might turn me against the god whose divine plan is to kill everyone I will ever love.” “I thank and praise god day and night for blessing me with such insecurities that I can justify complete and total cruelty toward any of his perfect creations unable or unwilling to give me what I want.” “And despite all the uncomfortable bits I must suffer for his worship I see his loving grace in how his holy commandments have no mention against putting my dick into inanimate objects per se.”

If people, places and things not serving your interests are without value, how do Christians maintain value in their creator’s eyes while serving people, places and things more than his interests? I talk a lot of shit for someone who doesn’t automatically know to replicate every last one of your likes and dislikes. The only thing standing between you and your dreams is the basic human right of others to self-determination.
