Dreams Continuing Their Unfinished Business After We Vanish Back To Waking Life

If remote viewing were commonplace and widespread, as manageable in real life as what lucid dreamers do with their free time, the entire entertainment industry would fold overnight. Lawmakers would be wholly unable to avoid complete and total transparency round the clock. But none of that is likely what the feds had in mind, in their decades of pursuing such matters as the Gateway Experience.

Even without a global pandemic, in today’s era all are under house arrest of their own choosing, fearful never to stray beyond the boundaries of comfort zones and echo chambers, safe spaces, news bubbles, the DIY segregation of social networking and the gated communities they all reinforce both physical and ideological, like fiefdoms of self-appointed authorities. The consequences are all-encompassing and miserably ongoing, from the commonplace and widespread perversity of this belief that what anybody wants, particularly the more selfish among us, is by any stretch of the imagination more important than the needs of others. With the contrived, artificial cultures of pop impressing upon the masses that the natural world is not enough, possibly the biggest shared fetish is the duplicitous ends of escapism and control. Not just a control over how to escape, like free passes for biases, quirks and whims and the legalization and deification of all vices no matter how openly destructive. And not just escape from control like libertines demanding socialized diplomatic immunity for these same biases, quirks and whims wherever equality or common decency unfortunately cramp their own respective styles or make light of their own respective egos. People want their illusions incarnated, to be more objective by default than this world around us. They want voodoo, they want infallibility of conviction no matter how openly destructive.

The problems arising from a matter such as Fox news do not originate from the hyper-partisanship, but from the fact that it lies all the time, its viewers obliviously unwilling or unable to get a second opinion for corroborating evidence, taking everything they are preached for granted. Addicted to the personalized fantasy that personal responsibilities need not exist, they refuse to see other perspectives, even when those other perspectives encompass the mass of documented reality. Limiting one’s exposure to the world or experiences of the world, makes it all the more improbable for one to understand the world. Some honestly have no idea of the degrees to which they are lied to, but many more have no idea of the harm caused by accepting such lies, because everything self-incriminatory ruins the fantasy and so must be avoided at all costs. Students wishing to only be confronted with what they are already familiar with and what they are already comfortable with, will learn absolutely nothing. That must be extended to news media. People can view a thing such as Q as appealing to lowest common denominators, easily observing how its followers are not merely insane but altogether stupid. But that is precisely the same as how cultists regard non-followers, because in this waking life the only pursuit is flattery and reassurances, even when it contradicts everything else. No matter the actual opposition, anything disagreeable to one’s preferred egotism whether a continued dominance or an idealized comeuppance is at once lesser than and also a huge threat.

There is truth in our nocturnal dreams where we hold no authority, but not in the aspirational laundry lists of fantasies we refer to in waking life as our dreams. Because truth is not a subjective thing, and its function is not to flatter anybody. I don’t think truth can even be personalized, in the sense of everyone having their own truth, as truth does not actually require our input in order to be.

I’m reminded of a thing I wrote a couple of years ago this month:

“Although he was in fact an editor for the utterly, helplessly 2-dimensional New York Times, Mark Twain knew that humanity cannot be effectively weighed by the sexiness of its attire, of how it may like to be perceived. We find truth in how we relate to the people, the world outside ourselves. Implying that we have to think outside ourselves, even if only beside ourselves. Whatever rewards we might like for others to bestow upon us, none of that represents who we really are, or our potential. Filling personal voids is what leads to the dissolution of every group, every culture, every society. Verily, all for one and one for all or it all goes to shit. Religion is not about you. Culture is not about you. Society is not about you. And to live in denial of this is to contribute to the prevention of whatever good these things might accomplish for people other than you.

Scientists are theorizing that sleep repairs damaged DNA in the neurons of individual organisms, from which can be drawn at least a couple of interesting conclusions. First and foremost would be that to sleep is to reaffirm our humanity in a biological way, making us more human by literally giving strength to our genetic structure. And, by this light, rigid work schedules actually dehumanizes our lot in life. Which I suppose would add further gravitas to the Jungian concept of the Collective Unconscious, and specifically the shared archetypes it empowers us to encounter in dream. If sleep is now all the more intrinsic to what we are fundamentally, to what necessarily defines us and who we are and how we exist in the universe, then what comes of it as well must be given more depth and meaning. Not the signals we convey, but the ones we receive. Such as with wet dreams, and should there be psychic connections enduring for such events then I am obliged to apologize to Jane Levy for the stretch marks and hard bruising granted to her bottom when I was a lion. I know not whether it was your influence exerted or mine, but those tears were real for the both of us.”

Rightwing naysayer John Ziegler recently wrote a very stupid article, announcing to the world that the act of saving lives is less important than his own burning desire to watch other people’s children run around. The senior columnist for Mediaite believes that all the protocols of quarantine restrictions are nothing but liberal fascism. I’ve no inclination for canceling anyone as everyone has the solemn right to make an ass of themselves publicly, socially and religiously, Agreeing to disagree means considerably nothing however, so I reached out.

No response, so I forwarded my message to his editor. The hyperlink going to this.

Prompting a reply from the professional media figure.

I think it quite evident, just who between us is entertaining fairy tales. Actions married to consequences are only ever a bad thing for egos. And it is very much the stuff of dreams for the two to be divorced, as the relation between cause and effect is expressly how nature maintains its girlish figure.
