lulling ourselves dead

Maybe what we know as the centuries comprising the Dark Ages were not a period of low activity in history, but a pointed suppression of what was in actuality the first world war, and we kicked god’s ass. The Holy Roman Empire freaking everybody out so much, all the gods had to die. Their corpses, turned by opportunists into marionettes to be paraded about like useful idiots. So many fetish becoming toys, tools or weapons though, that’s where enabling reveals itself. Use me icon use me good. I bet refusing to emphatically cosign whichever personality cult triggers most rape and death threats online. The witlessly dehumanized dehumanizing in turn.

Wherever there’s no separation of church and state, god and country are granted more dimension than actual human life. Away from fantasies, sinning isn’t necessarily illegal and breaking laws is rarely a sin, but in the fantasy, simply preferring reality can be assaulted as both. American conservatives see themselves as under threat unless others have less esteem, while American liberals believe everyone not prioritizing the esteem of others is a threat. Sometimes it’s hard to keep our feathers numbered. There’s willing romantic partners aplenty out there. It’s tact that’s rare. Even supply and demand are seeing other people. Really nasty breakup.

In a functioning order, nobody needs to have less of anything than you, and unless your life is actually on the line, not simply your pride or comfort, what others think or feel about you means absolutely nothing. Sex magic may be an extension of blood magic and blood magic is older than language, but neither should be misconstrued for chaos magic as bloodletting and sex both have purpose where chaos is the lack thereof.

No person in all of creation is actually owed cruelty or love. It’s degrees of fascism to insist otherwise, and in fact the most destructive people round the world and throughout recorded history banked on nothing less. But every individual finds exceptions, because they’ve all been enabled to think that survival has anything whatsoever to do with others replicating their thoughts and feelings when everyone suffers their own well enough. The homeless survivors of our collective disdain laugh. A culture openly mistaking wish-fulfillment for necessity, I reviewed/interviewed for years as self-education from within, have spent time in more states than most will ever know for themselves. When dreams, when the American Dream, can’t happen without others giving of themselves, self-reliance is the fantasy. Villains require sacrifice by others. There’s irony in that if everybody were more responsible, they wouldn’t need anyone to be in charge or anyone to prop them up either one. Hope is the easiest thing in the world to sell, because it never has to deliver. I don’t want to leave twitter, I want to leave the nationwide circle-jerk, the contests of who is most troubled and who is most special. I want to leave the fucking planet.

If Warren Ellis and the avatar people were to reopen whitechapel right now it’d be such a thing. All the comickers hungry for safe harbor who loved his work but who don’t want to be the one to say codependent relationships or any other form of sadomasochism are two-way streets. If we spare the rod, we spoil the Musk. Ambition is nothing more than a politically-correct way to whitewash others making with the changes or sacrifices. We give more time to wanting better and wanting more, to service our own fleeting interests, than to what we might do without so as to actually save a life. My mom could flow like water better than Bruce Lee, but the idea that the world perhaps does not exist only to conform to our personal pleasures is lost on everybody wondering why all the heartache.

We entertain authorities because most people can’t govern themselves responsibly. I’d imagine someone simply thirsting for wealth/power/authority automatically negates them from considering the needs of others, but I can’t match their breadth of marketing. The two-thirds of the pop here in the states not voting encompass all those who learned from their mistakes, and/or are simply too busy filling voids of government for the people around us. The people are too irresponsible to govern themselves so they elect, then freak when the ungovernable empower self-centered asses. Whose established legal system truly does exist specifically to deprive the masses of our own livelihood and well-being. Like cops sitting on thumbs for the Uvalde school shooting, they were protecting the rights of the most selfish, the gun-owner, with the standard for patriotism being a willingness to see Americans suffer, the least selfish the better. Good people do not seek out power over the lives of others, they’re too busy lending hands to be reaching for the stars. The more powerful a person is the more self-centric they prove themselves, earnestly incapable of giving a shit and with no more logic beyond. We want and need to ascribe them motives declaring them more complicated than appearances let on, declaring ourselves more complicated than appearances let on, elsewise it’s a damning statement to how irresponsible the general public is to have awarded such trust to begin with. I realize how dark and pessimistic that reads as, but people are just never as complicated as they think of themselves, and nothing in all of creation is more predictable than ego. Too many dream of someone, anyone else to do the problem-solving, the heavy lifting. It’s not a sexy thing, awake at night fretting over strangers.

No matter your favorite persuasion of church or state or industry I promise you I am not its intended demographic. I’m not irresponsible enough to leave it to the most selfish I come across to manage my choices in life, and none are welcome to my credit or blame either one.
