Progress dreams of machines to engage deep learning, to spare itself such unholy labor. In that vein, right-wingers notoriously object to history, but they also struggle with maths.
There lies as of my draft for this 346,213,310 total human heads counted in the American population. 77,150,810 voted for Donald Trump this year, comprising less than a quarter of that total population. This leaves 269,062,500 citizens who did not vote for him; over three-quarters of said population, closer to four-fifths. Hardly any majority in terms of the will of the people being represented. In fact, there were roughly 4 million fewer votes altogether for Republicans and Democrats contrasted with the 2020 election, meaning that to win with less amounted to millions of disgruntled liberals and conservatives choosing to forego voting, for the third parties garnered less attention than any Presidential election I can remember. Which in turn translates to no groundswell of conservative support or of liberals switching sides in protest of a feeble alternative, as the cartoon of a man lost votes within documented reality.
The Kamala Harris campaign made over a billion in record-setting campaign funds disappear, to the extent that it still owes the DNC itself millions of dollars. Strangely, even rightwing media has glossed over this. I’m not upset people voted for a loser, after all, as voting the lesser of two evils yet still consistently burns the mass of peoples. I’m upset that each of the campaign contributors did not instead give their donations to their own regional homeless initiatives. Would the USA then continue to have more homeless than any other nation? But in keeping with examples set by their icons, Americans encourage themselves to show no consideration for others, certainly not when the time and energy can go towards enlivening whatever pipe dream vowing to alleviate them of fault for their own mishaps and blunders and poor, poor decisions made over their own lives and resource.
As usual of course, half the population did not vote, whereas every presidential election of my lifetime seems to average down to 51% Democrat and 49% Republican and the masses play coy about the commonality persisting. The half not voting consists of the minors obviously, as well as those prize-winners incapable on their best days of naming any President at all; being as they are too ignorant to care about who or what wields ultimate power over their livelihoods and well-being. Though, also does it include all those capable of remembering moments ago. If every horrible thing the government has put you and those you love through is the fault of the other party, then your party has either proven itself wholly ineffectual from preventing those awful things, or is complicit or both. There’s no other rational way of viewing the sadomasochism, and clearly to everyone not in whichever personality cult, the half voting are those remade more susceptible toward marketing. The feelings of nobody matter more than the livelihoods of millions, but would you rather have private interest dictate your life, or would you prefer to have private interest dictate your life? If you don’t pick one you must not care about democracy, right? The liberal MSNBC repeatedly, bizarrely, asserts some conservative super-majority to explain such election win, which is the opposite of reality, and meanwhile the Harris campaign made a billion dollar war-chest vanish and somehow conservative FOX is not obsessing over this gift basket with wall to wall coverage day and night? To draw a conclusion neglected by evidently all of commercial media, conservative and liberal politicians hold far more in common with each other than with their audiences or constituency, and the entire elective process is a sham even without intrusions most undemocratic by the Electoral College. And further, how is contributing to such society not guilt by association? Just “trying to get by” always provides shite cover for falling relentlessly before whomever offering the more appealing assurances, that matters such as accountability, personal responsibility and consideration of others are all concerns which are not for you, but for those unlike you, with the only cost being your obeisance. The better life, the obtainable life, is one where nobody needs to play either scapegoat or enabler. Those who flee the country are not fleeing what they depend on, no they flee what claims they have of principles or convictions. Say what thouest will of me, but I have never run from anything in all my days, and certainly never abandoned anyone to a fate worse than mine own.
I probably broke my foot a couple of weeks back. I don’t care to get it checked out by a healthcare infrastructure which rationalizes charging all those they fail to help, for I see my predicament as a small step towards some kind of ending. Emblematic for my nilskidoo adage itself, there is nowhere to run, as reality fortunately always was and always will be all-encompassing and not a starting point for escapism. I’ve never crossed paths with anyone who walked as much as me. I regret only never finding where to place the last footfall, no god to bite the proverbial curb.
There is a matrix in the glitch, as exhausting as the product-placement blogs of thought-leading, futurist hacks. I am far more inclined to have others loathe me than live this life under false pretenses galore, but what unites everyone else is the conviction that nothing can be more offensive than to not have one’s fantasy indulged. It’s not a matter of both sides-ism, the next civil war is a free for all with nobody left, as everyone’s preferential demands place them in the right, governed by the maddening and self-defeating competitions of unrequited ego, as though holy water was always to result in wet tee-shirts. If bleeding out in anonymity were so detestable, why would everyone conduct their lives with no other trajectory as welcoming?
On that note, a business idea: assisted suicide service which also produces snuff films- we’ll leave you a star!
